At The Social Space, you have the opportunity to make some new friends, learn some new skills and have some fun. We help you with your social skills and communication so that you feel more able to voice what you want to say. Our groups are small (between 3 and 12) – so you get to know the other participants, and don’t get lost in a large group or feel overwhelmed.  It is our aim for you to feel comfortable, be able to express yourself and be helped to get where YOU want to go with your goals. 

We have all types of programs running in our studio, all through the week at different times.  We tailor these programs to your level and interests and includes things like :

• Art & Craft (from painting, colouring, mandela, woolcraft, computer art)
• Writing & life stories
• Walking Group
• Relaxation Skills that help you relax
• Wii Games – bowling and shootem games are a favourite where everyone gets to join in no matter their skill level
• Photography
